Both mountains and oceans are experienced in all their glory along the Garden Route. Criss-cross between the two, via the mountain, passes into the hot dry Karoo, then back down to the temperate coast. Highlights Wi-fi on board Day 1, Oudtshoorn The charming town of Oudtshoorn situated in the Klein Karoo. It is home to South Africa's ostrich farm industry and the world-famous Cango Caves. Wine tasting in the Karoo. Visit ostrich farm. Dinner & overnight in Oudtshoorn. Day 2, Knysna / Plettenberg Bay Knysna situated between lush forest and the shores of a peaceful lagoon, offering a wide variety of attractions. Visit Cango Caves. Swartberg Pass. Lunch at "Kobus se Gat". Knysna Heads & Waterfront. Elephant Park (optional). Overnight in Knysna. Day 3, Safari Spend your last day in the Garden Route on a leisurely safari at one of the private game reserves before heading back to Cape Town. ​Safari tour on the private game reserve.
